    See, it reminded me of the story of Cupid and Psyche, she never got to see his face but he was nice and caring towards her. Her sisters came to visit and managed to convince her that since her lover would not reveal himself, he was really a hideous monster. She peeked during the night and discovered he was actually the handsome god Eros, but he woke up and cast her out of the castle in anger. I really likes me the greek myths [Reply]

    I think there was also a somewhat similar myth of a lover of Zeus's. When she demanded that he show himself, she got INCINERATED with his GODLY APPEARANCE.
    Except for her unborn child, who I believe Zeus had sewn into his thigh and later gave birth to. I don't remember any more details though, it's annoying. [Reply]
